QA Engineer

We are seeking a QA to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess 1 - 3 years of experience in software testing and be ISTQB certified.

Key Responsibilities –

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Develop and maintain a process for creating test cases from planned features, and ensure full test coverage of the product specifications.
  • Perform regression testing to verify software stability after code changes.
  • Perform system, integration, functional, data validation, Performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Report and document defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
  • Building up environments independently to test assigned work. Strive to deploy all products and updates on time.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality. Define the severity and priority for each
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Create accurate, thoughtful, and comprehensive defect reports.
  • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to resolve testing issues.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in testing.

Skills and Qualifications –

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
  • ISTQB certification is required.
  • Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL DB. Knowledge of Mongo DB would be an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as [Appium, Cypress, Selenium] would be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Good to have:

  • Hands-on experience with test automation is a plus
  • Security/Performance testing experience is a plus
  • Mobile testing experience is a plus
  • Any or other certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300, ₹500,000.00 per year
