Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for interior parts, exterior parts, plastic, rubber, sheet metal, proprietary parts, BOM, costing & zero based costing.
  • Develop strategic sourcing plans to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Negotiate prices with vendors to achieve best deals.
  • Select suppliers through vendor selection process (RFQ) and develop strong relationships with them.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials by managing inventory levels effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 15-24 years of experience in purchase or procurement role in automobile OEM /Tier 1 industry.
  • Regular B.Tech/B.E. degree from a recognized institution.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in using tools like BOM creation, cost estimation etc.
