Job Location: KolkataEligibility:

  • Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education
  • Should be flexible with night shifts & rotation shifts
  • Carry 2 photocopies of Aadhar/PAN
  • Candidates to have registered EPs
  • It is mandatory to submit a valid copy of TCS application form during the drive

Role & ResponsibilitiesDocumentation Management:Prepare, review & verify the shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and letters of credit etc. Ensure accuracy and compliance with domestic & international customs regulations, trade agreements & policies. Maintain records of shipments and documentation for audit and tracking purposes.

Customs & Compliance:Work with customs brokers (CHA) & custom policies to ensure timely clearance of shipments. Stay updated on import/export regulations, HSN codes, and trade compliance duty structure and free trade agreements (FTAs) requirements. Manage duty drawback claims and other regulatory documentation as required.

Logistics Coordination:Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and shipping lines. Coordinate & track inland logistics movement proactively to avoid delays or issues in transit. Work with internal teams (M&S, Logistics, warehouse, and finance) to align shipping schedules and documentation.

Stakeholder Communication:Act as the point of contact for internal teams (M&S, Logistics, Finance etc.), suppliers, and logistics partners regarding documentation-related queries. Knowledge:Incoterms, domestic & international trade regulations, and customs clearance. Develop & enforce SOPs for shipping documentation to ensure compliance & efficiency.

Skills:Strong knowledge of Incoterms, Custom regulations, trade compliance, HS Code & documentation protocols. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Identify process improvements for efficiency in documentation and shipping workflows. Mandatory Requirements (How to generate your EPCN)EPCN number is mandatory for eligibility of the interview. Follow the below steps to register and mention the EPCN number on your resume
