We are looking for an experienced Litigation Expert – Direct Tax to join our dynamic tax and legal team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of direct tax laws, strong experience in handling tax litigation matters, and the ability to represent clients before various tax authorities and appellate forums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and manage direct tax litigation cases at various levels, including Assessing Officers, CIT(A), ITAT, and higher judicial authorities.
  • Draft replies, appeals, written submissions, and legal opinions related to income tax matters.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external counsels for effective case management.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated with recent developments in direct tax laws.
  • Provide strategic advisory on litigation risks and opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • CA Drop out /Semi Qualified CA LLB / LLM (preferred specialization in taxation).
  • 2-4 years of experience in direct tax litigation or advisory.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Income Tax Act, Rules, and related judicial precedents.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
