Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source raw materials, packaging, and components in line with production and quality requirements.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to timelines.
  • Maintain supplier database and performance scorecards.

2. Production & Planning

  • Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing partners to meet demand forecasts.
  • Monitor material availability and ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Support NPD and pilot runs with timely material procurement and logistics planning.

3. Inventory Management

  • Track and maintain optimal inventory levels at factories, warehouses, and distribution centers.
  • Use data analytics to monitor slow-moving and fast-moving SKUs and minimize stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Reconcile inventory reports monthly and support audit requirements.

4. Logistics & Distribution

  • Coordinate dispatches to distributors, retail stores, and e-commerce partners.
  • Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
  • Optimize route planning and freight costs.

5. Data & Systems

  • Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Prepare reports on supply chain KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), lead time, and cost per shipment.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and digitization.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Zoho, NetSuite, etc.) preferred.
  • Analytical, structured, and deadline-oriented.
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement roles (FMCG/D2C/retail preferred).
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation, GST logistics, and e-commerce supply chain operations is an advantage.
