Job Title: Sr. Performance Test Engineer/Lead
Location: Hyderabad/BLR/Pune/Mumbai
CTC: Max 22 LPA
Notice: Immediate- 15 days
This role is responsible for validating system performance across the MAE and M2U release lifecycle, ensuring that all business and IT-driven initiatives meet the required non-functional standards before golive. The Performance Tester works collaboratively with developers, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize application behavior under load, and ensure seamless digital experiences for internal and external customers. The focus will be on performance planning, test scripting, execution, analysis, and tuning to enhance system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness in a fast-paced, value-driven delivery pipeline.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
5+ years of experience in:
a. Performance testing and performance engineering in banking applications using different
protocols.
b. Should have experience with Database performance testing and tuning (AWR reports)
c. Should have experience in understanding Java applications for performance JVM, Heap
Dump and Thread dump analysis, garbage collections.
Deep understanding of Scrum practices and Agile frameworks
Experience in Environment capacity planning based on performance test result analysis.
Proficient in fiddler, Postman, LoadRunner, JMeter, GitHub, locust, Jira, Confluence
Should have knowledge on cloud performance engineering
APM tools Cloud Watch, Grafana, Dyantrace etc and monitor using linux scripts wherever
required.
Should be able to pin point the system bottleneck and suggest the solution.
Highly organized, thorough, and capable of managing complex test scenarios independently.
Should integrate performance testing using CI/CD pipeline.
Should have good understanding in caching mechanisms and encryption logic.
