Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Advocate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in legal practice, with a strong focus on drafting and documentation. This role demands the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality work under pressure. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil is essential, along with extensive experience in handling legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings, with precision and clarity.
  • Prepare case files, legal briefs, and other documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with senior advocates and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines while upholding exceptional work standards.
  • Support administrative tasks related to case management and client communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in legal practice or a related field, with proven expertise in handling legal documentation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents with clarity, precision, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of legal documentation processes and formats.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Tamil and English.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and software is an advantage.
