You'll provide safetysupport to all projects, ensuring they all meet our own established standards and that oflocal safety regulations.Specifically, you'll conduct safety review meetings with project and design team at theinitial stage of the project. As well, you'll ensure that all high-risk activities have propersafety work method statement (SWMS). Additionally, you'll promote workplace safety byperforming site inspections, risk reports, timely safety-related corrections, and weeklysafety meetings. You'll also constantly coordinate with the project manager and operationsmanager to ensure that everybody will be out of harm's way.Promoting safety awarenessGetting everyone on board our environment, health and safety initiatives falls on yourshoulders. To do you, you need to create awareness and educate our people andstakeholders. You'll achieve this through consistent sharing of success stories and bestpractices among project JLL teams, and also by doing regular mentoring and coaching ofour safety officers and nonsafety professionals. Another step would be obtaining therelevant professional licenses and ensuring they stay up-to-date.Sound like you? To apply, you need to have:Education and experienceAn ideal candidate holds a solid healthy, safety and environmental (HSE) background,and has at least 9 years' experience in construction safety. You are also a safety licenseholder, with a proven track record in providing safety trainings. We also expect you to bewell versed in project safety systems, processes, tools and best practices—ultimately,applying such sources in the delivery of flawless projects.An eye for detailWe'll expect you to be good at identifying, and devising measures to meet, ourstakeholders' business needs and requirements.
