Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPNs, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
  • Install and maintain networking hardware: routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper).
  • Implement and optimize security measures: firewall rules, IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewalls.
  • Administer and troubleshoot systems across Windows, Linux, and Mac environments.
  • Oversee NAS storage, backup procedures, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Utilize SNMP-based tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds) to monitor network health and performance.
  • Provide tier 2/3 support for end-user systems, network connectivity, and software issues.
  • Manage endpoint protection, antivirus solutions, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, process documentation, and technical SOPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for smooth IT operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and support roles.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, subnetting, switching, routing, QoS, and SDN (e.g., SD-WAN).
  • Proven experience with Cisco, Netgear, Fortinet, or equivalent hardware.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, access control models, and cloud/network security.
  • Practical knowledge of scripting and automation frameworks (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
