Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Automation QA Engineer (Java) located in Hyderabad. The role involves overseeing automation testing processes, developing and maintaining test scripts using Java, and analyzing test results to identify and troubleshoot issues. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality, draft clear and comprehensive test cases, and execute manual and automated testing. The role also emphasizes ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards and continuous improvement in testing practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Test Execution and Software Testing processes
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies and standards
  • Experience with Manual Testing and creating detailed Test Cases
  • Hands-on skills in automation tools and frameworks, with proficient use of Java for testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience in automation testing roles and familiarity with testing tools like Selenium or similar tools is a plus
