Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Payroll, your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategizing, leading, and supervising end-to-end payroll operations for employees across regions.
• Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international payroll laws and regulations.
• Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and system improvements to optimize payroll processes.
• Managing payroll audits, tax filings, employee benefits, and resolving escalated issues efficiently.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, IT, and legal teams, to align payroll strategies with organizational goals.
• Driving automation and innovation in payroll systems for operational efficiency.
• Leading, mentoring, and upskilling a high-performing payroll team.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for strategy discussions at a senior leadership level.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need to bring:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in payroll management with a proven track record of leading large-scale payroll teams.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software (Workday preferred), compliance regulations, and tax laws.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience in driving process optimization and team development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Exposure to global payroll processes and multi-country compliance frameworks is an added advantage.
