We are expanding our R&D center in Pune, India, and are looking for a talented and motivated Design Engineer to support us in developing world-class software solutions for our automation systems. The Design Engineer is responsible for coherent product development, product management, and the effective use of common tools and working methods within their area of responsibility. The role ensures that all design and technical solutions meet agreed quality, performance, and maintainability standards.

Specific Tasks:

  • Specify, design, and document software products that meet customer needs and internal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with defined standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Monitor relevant directives and standards, and respond to changes accordingly.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, guidelines, and product structures within the software domain.
  • Provide technical support to Global Support, customer service, logistics, and engineering teams.
  • Evaluate and propose new third-party software components and manage change documentation.
  • Identify development needs in software products and related processes.
  • Handle customer complaints in a timely manner to prevent escalation.
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of technical product training (e.g., classroom sessions, e-learning materials).

Our Requirements:

  • We need 3-7 years of experience as Design Engineer
  • University degree in Automation, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field 
  • Knowledge of Robot Framework/Selenium and Python
  • Ability to summarize test results and interpret the test reports
  • Practical knowledge of agile software development standards 
  • Good understanding of CI tools like Jenkins 
  • Practical knowledge of Git (Bitbucket), Jira, Confluence 
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio IDE 
  • Skillful at

  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
