  • Overview
  • SAP R2R (Record to Report) Consulting involves managing and optimizing financial processes within the SAP ecosystem to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient financial reporting and analysis.
  • Core Responsibilities
    1. Lead or support the Record to Report (R2R) process, which includes General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and financial reporting workflows.
    1. Ensure accurate, timely preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
    1. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
    1. Maintain compliance with internal controls, industry regulations, and global/local financial standards.
    1. Drive process improvements and standardization within the R2R framework.
    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—business stakeholders, IT, procurement, and supply chain—to support continuous process improvement and system optimization.
    1. Perform and manage reconciliations (FR & MR), journal entries, and other general ledger operations.

  • Expected Skillsets and Qualifications

    1. In-depth knowledge of SAP FI (Finance), CO (Controlling), and related modules.
    1. Strong hands-on SAP R2R configuration experience and FICO expertise.
    1. Familiarity with the end-to-end R2R cycle, financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS), and compliance requirements.
    1. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
    1. Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
    1. Proficiency in SAP ECC / S4 HANA systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
