Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Record to Report (R2R) Specialist with strong expertise in SAP and a solid finance background to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in managing end-to-end R2R processes, financial reporting, and compliance within an SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Record to Report (R2R) process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure the integrity of General Ledger (GL), Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Cost Center Accounting.
  • Manage SAP-based financial processes including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, and Audit) to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the R2R domain.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and corporate accounting policies.
  • Support internal and external audits, and provide necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Train and mentor junior finance team members on R2R and SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CA Qualified (mandatory) with 8+ years of post-qualification experience in R2R and financial reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules (S/4HANA experience is a plus).
  • Deep understanding of financial accounting principles, closing procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in working within shared services / global finance teams is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to multinational corporate environments.
  • Knowledge of tax compliance, transfer pricing, or statutory reporting is a plus.
  • Experience in process transition, standardization, or automation projects.
