. We are making the construction process faster, smarter and efficient through robots that can do advanced construction tasks and digitize execution data in real time. Our first product is a modular wall finishing robot for plastering, putty and painting of building interiors. Our customers include some of the biggest names in Indian real estate and construction.

We are looking for a
Robotics Data and Interface Systems Engineering Intern

who can bridge the gap between human operators, robotic software, and embedded systems. In this role, you will build
native GUI interfaces

for robot control and status monitoring, while also developing
data collection and visualization pipelines

to better understand the robot's performance in real-world environments. You'll work hands-on with
ROS / ROS 2

,
edge devices (Jetson Orin)

, and
live robot data

, contributing directly to the systems that make our robots more intelligent and operator-friendly.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop a
    native GUI

(non–web based) using
Qt / PyQt / PySide6 etc

.
- Interface GUI components with
ROS 1

/
ROS 2 nodes, topics, and services

.
- Implement control panels for actions such as navigation, system start/stop, and diagnostics.
- Display real-time feedback such as battery status, sensor data, or camera and LiDAR views.
- Optimize the GUI for performance on the
Nvidia

Jetson

based edge devices.
- Ensure reliable communication between the UI and ROS backend.
- Test and refine the system directly on physical robot hardware.
- Develop
data logging pipelines

to record and manage robot telemetry, sensor data, and system states.
- Create tools and visualizations for analyzing data — such as robot paths, velocities, system diagnostics, or sensor outputs.
- Work closely with robotics engineers to test, refine, and deploy the developed systems on physical robots.

Who you are:

  • A recent graduate (graduation year: 2025) in Computer Science, Robotics or any other relevant engineering discipline or about to graduate in 2026.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Python

(or C++) and
Qt / PyQt / PySide6

for desktop GUI development.
- Strong proficiency in
Python

(or C++) with experience in modular, maintainable code design.
- Working knowledge of
ROS

concepts — publishers, subscribers, services, and launch files.
- Comfort with
Linux / Ubuntu

systems and development on embedded platforms.
- Understanding of
asynchronous programming

and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative software development.
- Experience with
data handling and visualization

using libraries such as
Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Plotly

.

Good to have:

  • Experience with
    rqt plugin development

or ROS-integrated visualization tools..
- Awareness of
UI/UX design principles

- Exposure to
