We are seeking a qualified Maternity Wards Staff Nurse to join our team at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai. This full-time, mid-level position requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. - Thorough knowledge of hospital electronic medical records systems, and adept at maintaining detailed patient records.
- Demonstrated capability in patient assessment, care planning, and critical thinking in maternity cases.
- Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies.
- Required skills include proficiency in wards management and a deep focus on maternity care.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the maternity ward, including prenatal, perinatal, postnatal care, and neonatal support.
- Coordinate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor the health condition of mothers and newborns, providing timely assessments and interventions when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge home care practices.
- Ensure adherence to all maternity ward protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in continuous professional development and training programs to enhance personal and team skills.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient information and treatments administered.
- Act as an advocate for patient health and safety, fostering an environment of health, comfort, and trust for patients.
