General Information :

SABER Simulation and Modeling Engineer :Join our Electronics and Technology - Mechatronics and ASIC Solutions team as a SABER Simulation and Modeling Engineer. This role involves utilizing Synopsys SABER to develop and integrate sophisticated simulation models that enhance system performance and reliability.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electronic component simulation models for semiconductor devices, including SiC, GaN, and electromechanical systems using SABER.
  • Engage in analog component design and modeling using hardware description languages (HDL).
  • Specify, design, and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards.
  • Analyze and optimize module circuit-block details for improved performance.
  • Support layout processes, validate comprehensive models, and debug integrated models and circuits.
  • Collaborate with international teams on concept development, functional verification, layout, hardware validation, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Drive innovative IP development with on-the-job training to expand technical expertise.

Your Qualifications:

  • BE/ME/MTech/MS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience: 2-5 years and above
  • Extensive experience with Synopsys SABER and MATLAB.
  • Proficiency in HDL Programming languages such as MAST and VHDL AMS.
  • Experience in mathematical analysis tools (Mathcad, Minitab, etc.).
  • Experience with regression analysis tools using MATLAB, Python, etc.
  • Strong understanding of analog design principles, electronic devices, circuit theories, and power electronics design.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and measurement techniques.
  • Proficiency in electronic simulation software such as LTSpice and PSpice.
  • Skilled in at least one programming language, such as C or C++.
  • Commitment to continual learning and staying up to date with industry trends.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Experience with HDL modeling, mathematical modeling, thermal analysis, signal integrity, EMC, and component testing is advantageous.
