Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Compliance & Monitoring

  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across plant operations.

  • Assist in hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA), and job safety analysis (JSA).

  • Monitor use of PPE and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  • Environmental Management

  • Support implementation of pollution control measures (air, water, waste).

  • Maintain records for environmental parameters and assist in regulatory reporting.

  • Coordinate with external agencies for environmental sampling and audits.

  • Incident Management

  • Assist in investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

  • Maintain incident logs and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Training & Awareness

  • Conduct toolbox talks and EHS induction programs for new employees and contractors.

  • Promote safety culture through awareness campaigns and visual management.

  • Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain EHS documentation including permits, MSDS, SOPs, and inspection records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Education- Diploma/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science

Experience- 26 years in EHS role, preferably in chemical or process industries
