Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Microsoft Core & AWS Services

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft core technologies and AWS cloud-native services to design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen, architectural thinking, and hands-on experience building distributed systems in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Web API, etc.).
- Architect and integrate AWS event-driven components such as SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, and other serverless services.
- Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices and APIs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to architectural design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Apply Agile practices including sprint planning, code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and optimize performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in Microsoft stack (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing event-driven architectures using AWS SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, SNS, Step Functions, etc.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Terraform, or CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Proficient in Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for clean architecture and maintainable code.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to containerization (ECS, EKS).
- Experience with domain-driven design (DDD) and event sourcing patterns.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic).
- Certification in AWS or Microsoft technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Solutions Architect).
