Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team. This role is crucial in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the financial health of the company. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in travel and tourism accounting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Tally is a must for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

- Handle invoicing, vendor payments, and client billing.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial reporting requirements.

- Coordinate with internal teams for expense tracking and cost management.

- Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors when necessary.

- Monitor and manage credit control to minimize outstanding debts.

- Provide financial reports and analysis to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in Tally is a must.

- Experience with other accounting software (such as QuickBooks) is an advantage.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

- Familiarity with tax regulations, GST filings, and other relevant accounting standards.
