Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Control & Instrumentation Wiring Engineer to support the wiring, testing, and installation of control panels and field instrumentation systems. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of control wiring, instrumentation connections, and should be eager to work on live projects in bioprocess, pharma, or industrial automation sectors.

Role Description
·

  • Assist in control panel wiring, routing of cables, and termination of PLC, VFD, and field devices.
  • Support wiring for instrumentation devices like pressure, temperature, level, and flow sensors.
  • Read and follow electrical wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and I/O schedules.
  • Perform continuity checks, loop testing, and basic troubleshooting during panel wiring and site installation.
  • Support engineers during FAT/SAT, commissioning, and field I/O verifications.
  • Maintain proper documentation for panel layout changes, wiring modifications, and connection logs.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and order at the work site or panel shop.

Skill and Ability

  • Basic understanding of control systems, electrical wiring, and instrument signal types (4–20mA, RTD, digital, etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools like multimeters, crimping tools, and cable identification techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD Electrical drawings or wiring schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and field signal interfacing (preferred).
  • Willingness to work on shop floor or project sites for wiring, testing, and installation tasks.
  • Good attention to detail, safety awareness, and a positive learning attitude.

Experiance

  • 0–2 years of experience in control panel wiring or instrumentation installation.
  • An internship or training in industrial control systems is preferred.

Qualifications Required:

Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Engineering.
