Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with over 5+ years of experience in automation testing to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and collaboration with the development team. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks.
• Identify areas for automation within the testing process.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with development teams to understand product functionalities and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Document and report test results, defects, and issues using tracking tools.
• Provide detailed reports on identified issues and suggest improvements.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure products meet or exceed quality standards before release.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Tools and Technologies:

• Utilize QA tools for test automation, test case management, bug tracking, and reporting.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in QA and testing methodologies.

Experience and Qualifications

• Work Experience:
  At least 5+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer in Automation Testing.
• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium), bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Programming Skills:
  Proficiency in at least one programming language used in test automation (e.g., Python, Java).
