JD:

F&A Head with a CA qualification who manages a company's overall financial and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and audits, while also overseeing a team and ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities involve:

Managing the financial close, conducting audits, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, with expertise in financial systems and analytics being essential.

Functional Responsibilities:

Financial Operations Management:

Overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring the timely closing of accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivables.

Financial Reporting:

Preparing accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with accounting standards like Ind-AS or IFRS.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Developing and managing detailed financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Audit Management:

Coordinating and managing internal, statutory, and tax audits, and ensuring the timely resolution of findings.

Tax Compliance:

Handling all aspects of corporate tax, GST, and statutory filings.

Compliance and Controls:

Ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal financial controls.

Treasury and Banking:

Managing cash flow, working capital, and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Team Leadership:

Building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing finance team.

Strategic Support:

Providing strategic inputs to management, optimizing capital structures, and supporting fundraising efforts.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification: is a mandatory requirement.

Experience: Typically requires 3 to 5l years of post-qualification experience.

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial analysis.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Tally systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Analytical & Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a finance team.

Knowledge of Regulations: In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (Ind-AS, IFRS, GAAP) and relevant tax laws.
