Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong architectural insights, and extensive hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance systems. In this role, you will lead critical projects, mentor junior engineers, influence technical decisions, and help drive our technology roadmap forward.

• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including Data Structures & Algorithms, OOP, Operating Systems, DBMS, and Computer Networking.

• Expert-level hands-on experience with Java (7–9 years), including frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar.

• Experience working with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and RESTful APIs.

• Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing JVM-based applications.

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Scala or Go is a plus.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automated testing.

• Open mindset and willingness to explore and work with any modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software.

• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for clean, maintainable code.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement complex and scalable software applications using Java and related technologies.

• Lead end-to-end development of features and enhancements, from requirement analysis and technical design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices in coding, design, and architecture.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Apply strong debugging, analytical, and performance tuning skills to solve complex technical challenges.

• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and reliability.

• Evaluate, adopt, and integrate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve engineering productivity and product quality.

• Contribute to the design of system architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high throughput.

• Maintain and continuously improve existing applications, focusing on performance, resiliency, and scalability.

• Champion engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
