Role Overview
The
Senior Project Engineer – Civil Engineering (Commercial Projects)
will oversee
planning, execution, and supervision
of commercial civil engineering projects. You will ensure projects are
delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with sustainability standards
, coordinating with design, project management, and on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site civil engineering activities for commercial projects, including foundations, structures, finishing, and site works.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, MEP teams, and contractors for integrated project execution.
  • Review construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material submittals for feasibility and compliance.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Conduct quality inspections, site audits, and safety checks.
  • Support vendor and subcontractor management, ensuring adherence to project and sustainability standards.
  • Identify technical or operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
  • Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and as-built records.
  • Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of accountability and sustainable construction practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in civil engineering for commercial projects (offices, retail, mixed-use).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, commercial building codes, and materials.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and civil engineering software tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with green building practices, LEED/GRIHA standards, and sustainable construction materials is preferred.
