Job Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service, high-quality food and beverage standards, and exceptional guest satisfaction. The role involves supervising staff, managing shift operations, addressing customer concerns, and supporting the management team in achieving business goals and maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen and service staff.
- Lead, motivate, and support team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all service areas.
- Assist in staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift allocation to ensure adequate coverage.
- Train and guide new team members in service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Handle guest complaints or service issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Oversee cash handling, billing, and POS operations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality consistency.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with requisitions and stock checks.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and food safety guidelines.
- Provide input to management regarding staff performance and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Customer-oriented approach with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Working knowledge of POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Work Conditions
- Fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Interaction with guests, kitchen, and front-of-house teams.
- Shift-based schedules including weekends and public holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18, ₹30,000.00 per month
