We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

•    Design, develop and implement DataStage interfaces using IBM DataStage 11.7. 

•    Establish strong client relationships with operations, accounting, risk and other business partners in order to better ascertain, analyse and gather their needs

•    Suggest configuration changes to the system in order to meet business requirements

•    Document and translate requirements into functional design if required 

•    Liaise with business users to ensure proper understanding of requirements and ensuring quality deliverables

•    Should have good experience of test planning and strategy and can prepare test plans.

•    Prepare & execute test cases / scripts to support project testing lifecycle.   

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    IBM DataStage

•    Development in SQL and Oracle database.

•    Basic Unix shell scripting, Control-M, PL-SQL, RTC, JIRA etc.

•    Project Lifecycle

•    Process flow analysis

•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to merge multiple existing workflows into one, standard flow

•    Proven experience in delivering quality specifications that are well understood by both the business and development/implementation team

•    Proven experience in an IT Development environment
