Position: Carpenter

Location: UAE

Experience Required: Factory Work & Site Installation Experience Preferred

Key Responsibilities:Carpentry & Woodwork

  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wooden materials according to project specifications.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and planers.
  • Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, furniture, cabinets, partitions, and fixtures.
  • Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, polishing, laminating, and fitting hardware.

Factory Work

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and cutting lists.
  • Prepare materials and components for production.
  • Work on large-scale production of wooden furniture and joinery items.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality during fabrication.

Site Installation

  • Install doors, panels, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, and other joinery items at site.
  • Take site measurements and adjust items to fit exact dimensions.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members during installation work.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure proper alignment.

Quality & Safety

  • Maintain excellent workmanship and follow company quality standards.
  • Ensure safe use of machinery and follow safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter (Factory / Site Installation).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
  • Skilled in cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wooden materials.
  • Familiar with power tools, machinery, and joinery production techniques.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in furniture/joinery/fit-out industry.
  • Knowledge of modern carpentry techniques.
  • Experience working in GCC countries (added advantage).
