Executive Chef

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation of the property, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and cost control. This role involves menu planning, staff management, inventory control, vendor coordination, and maintaining consistent guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth functioning of all culinary activities.
- Plan, create, and update menus according to seasonality, guest preferences, and cost parameters.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with high quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate kitchen staff; schedule duty rosters and ensure discipline in the kitchen.
- Maintain hygienic standards as per FSSAI norms and ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Monitor food cost, portion control, and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the purchase team and select reliable vendors for high-quality ingredients.
- Conduct regular kitchen audits and equipment maintenance checks.
- Manage food inventory, stock levels, and ordering processes.
- Develop new recipes, promotions, and special menus for events or festivals.
- Work closely with management and front-office teams to ensure guest satisfaction and handle special requests.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and modern kitchen trends.
- Understanding of food costing, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month
