Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare fire exit and evacuation layouts as per building safety norms and local fire department guidelines.
  • Develop detailed 2D drawings, plans, elevations, and sections based on design concepts.
  • Ensure accuracy in dimensions, levels, and clearances to support smooth site execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Interior Designers, Architects, and Project Managers to understand project requirements.
  • Record and update as-built drawings to reflect the final executed work on-site.
  • Prepare shop drawings and material specifications for vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements, verification of site conditions, and collection of technical inputs.
  • Prepare recce reports documenting site observations, challenges, and existing conditions.
  • Capture and compile photographic documentation of site progress, existing structures, and services for reference.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of relevant drafting experience in the interior design / construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, fire safety norms, and detailing standards.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for effective team and site interactions.
