Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality postnatal care to new mothers and their babies at home, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
  • Conduct regular visits to monitor patient progress, identify potential issues, and implement necessary interventions.
  • Offer lactation support and guidance on breastfeeding techniques to promote successful feeding practices.
  • Educate patients on proper hygiene practices, wound care, and other aspects of postpartum recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for each patient.

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in nursing with a focus on postnatal care or related field.
  • Proficiency in Kannada/Hindi/English communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of maternal health, newborn nursing, vital signs monitoring, and patient education principles.
  • B.Sc Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
