Performance & API Tester - 6-7 Years Experience

Role Summary

Experienced tester to conduct performance testing and API testing for web/mobile applications. Design test strategies, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute load, stress, and volume testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling or any other tool.
  • Test REST/SOAP APIs for functionality, performance, and security
  • Develop automated test scripts and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze performance metrics and generate reports
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve performance issues

Required Skills

  • 6-7 years experience in performance and API testing
  • Proficiency with JMeter, Postman, REST Assured or any other Performance Testing tool
  • Programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and web technologies
  • Experience with monitoring tools (AppDynamics, New Relic)
  • Understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Performance testing certifications
  • Experience with microservices and containerization
  • Agile/SDLC methodology knowledge
