This role is not for those managing isolated, single-track projects. It is designed for professionals who have already progressed beyond conventional project management and are operating at a portfolio levelbalancing engineering leadership, client accountability, and business outcomes.

Core Responsibility

The primary objective of this role is to own and drive delivery across a portfolio of diverse technology projects. The Delivery Manager is expected to lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, ensure engineering excellence, and maintain profitability and compliance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of 4 to 8 concurrent technology projects spanning web, mobile, data, and cloud
• Manage cross-functional teams comprising Engineering, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX
• Oversee sprint cycles, retrospectives, risk assessments, and delivery health metrics
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; lead QBRs and manage escalations transparently
• Align project execution with business objectives, collaborating with Sales, HR, Finance, and Pre-Sales
• Ensure financial health of projects through budgeting, forecasting, and margin tracking
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including SoW preparation and delivery planning
• Uphold compliance with internal standards and external frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR, HIPAA)
• Mentor team members and support performance reviews and talent development initiatives

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 10 to 14 years of experience in IT delivery or program management roles
• Proven track record of managing multi-client, multi-project portfolios
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience interacting with CXO-level stakeholders
• Deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
• Financial ownership experience, including effort tracking, profitability optimization, and scope change management
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Google Workspace, and Figma

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, ITIL, or SAFe
• Experience working in regulated industries like FinTech or HealthTech
• Prior experience as a technical lead or software engineer

Location Preference: Pune-Based Candidates

This is a hybrid role based in Pune. While remote flexibility is offered, in-person collaboration plays a critical role in the success of this position. Preference will be given to candidates already residing in Pune or those able to relocate immediately. Candidates from other cities are welcome to apply, but please note that relocation support is not available, and location proximity is considered a significant advantage.
