Position Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Delivery Manager/Team lead to drive our Accounting and FP&A team. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, audit coordination, and reporting deliverables across multiple clients and business units.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with leadership and client management skills, driving operational excellence, compliance, and analytical insight in all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of finance professionals handling accounting, FP&A, and financial reporting functions
  • Oversee end-to-end financial operations including daily accounting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate findings, and present financial insights
  • Review and validate financial statements, reports, and analyses prepared by team members for accuracy and compliance
  • Manage planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, ensuring timely delivery of accurate MIS and management dashboards
  • Implement automation, process enhancements, and standardization initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Monitor KPIs, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement across service delivery and team performance

Qualifications:

  • CA / CMA / CPA Mandatory
  • 58 years of progressive experience in accounting and FP&A, ideally within a multi-client environment or in a team leadership role
  • Experience of working with offshore clients (US / UK / EU)
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, budgeting, financial modelling, and performance reporting
  • Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP platforms such as QuickBooks, Odoo, Zoho, Sage, Xero, or Tally
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, review deliverables, and maintain high accuracy under pressure

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing client interactions and cross-functional coordination
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving operational issues
  • Adaptable to changing business needs with a focus on process improvement and scalable delivery models
