Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Location: Goregaon, Mumbai

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Software Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, scripting, and testing tools, along with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and define testing scope.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
  • Provide detailed defect reports and work closely with the development team for quick resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing, with at least 1–2 years in Test Automation.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester) is a plus.
