Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Manager located in Chennai. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include leading quality audits, managing non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions, monitoring compliance, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve procedures, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, and managing a team dedicated to quality control and assurance.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory standards in the aviation industry
  • Proficiency in conducting quality audits and managing non-conformance processes
  • Skills in team management, leadership, and effective communication
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities for implementing process improvements
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical documents, manuals, and regulatory guidelines
  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance equipment, safety protocols, and testing procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, aviation management, or related field; certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) are a plus
  • Relevant experience in the aviation sector, with preference for candidates who have previously managed a quality assurance team
