Job Role :
Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Interpret and prepare P&IDs, detailed engineering layouts, and 2D/3D, shop, and fabrication drawings independently.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams (Sales, Purchase, Estimation), and multiple disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare project-related documentation, review vendor drawings and technical submittals, and ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
  • Perform basic design calculations, provide site support and troubleshooting, and assist in project implementation across locations in India.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of MEP systems and oil & gas processes, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or lead a project team when required.

Key Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in design and drafting for MEP or Oil & Gas projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and related design software.
  • Strong understanding of P&IDs, layouts, and fabrication drawings.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for client and internal interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and project support across India.
