Tekla Modeler Job Description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with: project managers, engineers, and design team Prepare complete submittal packages for approval and for fabrication; Generate an accurate, well organized model and/or generate shop drawings; Resolve technical clarifications from site & shop Proper file maintenance on all assigned projects.

Requirements:

Tekla Modelling experience is 5 to 5 years Modelling of steel for commercial & residential projects in multi-disciplinary environment including stairs, handrails & ladders.

Modelling with respect to structural drawing & architectural drawings (where necessary).Supporting users for troubleshooting in issues that arise during modeling, GA & Assembly drawings.

Making maximum use of Tekla library macro for connections. Experience in generating and customizing 2D drawings including numbering, templates, layouts, CNC outputs, Reports etc.

Must have knowledge to use Tekla tools thoroughly (Auto connection, create user defined joint, Organisation tool for error reports)

Study of input drawings and raisetechnical queries regarding missed information to client.

Generating reports of material list.

Extracting BOM from Organizer, Checking the BOM for component and their quantities.

Maintains a current working knowledge/ understanding of the latest version of the AISC Steel Construction ManualKnowledge of steel & bolt gradesInsure clash check is done in the model.

Prepare Templates for relevant project / Template editing optional

Expereince to work on cloud sharing

Understanding of weld symbols

Knowledge of AutoCad

Implement Process and maintain checklist compulsory.
