Your Mission

Join us in shaping the next generation of secure and connected solutions across automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors. As a Senior Java Developer, youll play a key role in building scalable, event-driven microservices that power innovative NXP products.
Youll collaborate across teams to transform user needs into robust technical solutions, contributing to the development of secure IoT platforms. Your work will directly impact how our customers experience our technologyfrom embedded systems to cloud-connected serviceshelping deliver meaningful value in a rapidly evolving IoT landscape.

What Youll Do

• Design and develop distributed systems and microservices using Java (21 ) and the Spring ecosystem.
• Build high-performance, event-driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka.
• Develop and optimize relational database models, especially with PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with Solution and Security Architects to implement new features and maintain existing systems.
• Translate user requirements into robust technical designs through analytical thinking.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure technical solutions align with customer needs.
• Take ownership of your components and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to system evolution through refactoring and migration initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement processes.
• Explore and contribute to IoT innovations across industrial gateways and cloud platforms.
• Work closely with a dedicated DevOps and UI team to enable smooth and frequent production deployments.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of experience in Java backend development.
• 5 years of experience in Spring ecosystem.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven systems and Apache Kafka.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Familiarity with IT security concepts and secure software development practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Passion for IoT and eagerness to contribute to cutting-edge product development.
• Operate in an agile environment with a distributed team.
• Fluent in English.
