Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Fabrication Supervisor

LTD. a leading Chemical Engineering company, is seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the fabrication field. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and drawings. As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing fabrication operations and leading a team of skilled workers to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Job Responsibilities:

· Fabrication Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various fabrication techniques, materials, and processes, including welding, cutting, bending, and assembling of metal components.

· Drawing Interpretation: Proficiently read and interpret engineering drawings, and specifications to guide fabrication activities accurately and efficiently.

· Supervision and Leadership: Effectively manage and lead a team of fabrication workers, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high-quality output and adherence to project timelines.

· Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce strict quality control measures throughout the fabrication process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

· Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and directors to plan and execute fabrication projects effectively, meeting budgetary and scheduling goals.

· Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any fabrication-related issues that may arise during the production process, making necessary adjustments and improvements.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among the fabrication team.

· Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of fabrication machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

· Cost Optimization: Seek opportunities to enhance fabrication processes and reduce production costs without compromising quality or safety.

· Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with advancements in fabrication technology, recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

· Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the fabrication field, with a proven track record of successfully supervising fabrication projects.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, and familiarity with fabrication-related software and tools.

· Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.

· Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in fabrication processes.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, management, and clients.
