At Remit2Any, we help NRIs send love home, making cross-border transfers simple, fast, and fee-free. Every design decision we make is guided by empathy, trust, and cultural understanding. We're now looking for a UX Researcher to uncover insights that shape intuitive, human-centered experiences for our global NRI community.

Role Overview

As a UX Researcher, you'll be the voice of our diaspora users, diving deep into their financial journeys, cultural contexts, and emotional needs. You'll conduct research that informs both product strategy and design decisions, ensuring our platform feels seamless, trustworthy, and relevant to NRIs worldwide.

Your work will help us answer questions like:

  • How do NRIs decide when and how to send money home?
  • What emotional and cultural factors drive their financial choices?
  • How do trust, family responsibilities, and convenience shape their adoption of fintech platforms?

…while uncovering many more insights that guide our product, design, and stakeholder decisions.

Key Responsibilities

User Research:
Plan and conduct research using qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, analytics).

Behavior Mapping:
Build personas, journey maps, and frameworks that capture diaspora-specific remittance behaviors.

Insight Translation:
Convert findings into actionable insights for product, design, and stakeholder teams to guide roadmaps and user experiences.

Cultural Analysis:
Pinpoint cultural nuances, trust factors, and emotional triggers that impact adoption and loyalty.

Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user insights into product features and design flows.

Effective Communication:
Present findings effectively through reports, storytelling, and stakeholder workshops.

What We're Looking For

Relevant Experience:
2-3 years of experience in UX research or related fields.

Research Expertise:
Strong foundation in qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Global Exposure:
Experience with global or multicultural audiences; fintech or financial services exposure is a plus.

Clear Storytelling:
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially in influencing stakeholders.

Tool Proficiency:
Proficiency with tools like Figma, Google Analytics, Clarity and Miro (or similar research and collaboration tools).

Educational Foundation:
Background in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, Product/Interaction Design, or related fields. A foundation in behavioral sciences (e.g., psychology, cognitive science) is a plus.
