Job Description:

As an Associate in Market Entry & Business Consulting at UJA, you will play a pivotal role in helping our foreign clients enter India and make informed strategic decisions. You will work closely with the consulting team, international desks and clients to provide expert guidance and solutions to clients seeking to expand their business presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Conduct market research, including primary and secondary research, to gather relevant data
  • Prepare detailed company profiles and perform competition benchmarking
  • Conduct valid and reliable market research, including SWOT analysis
  • Work on market sizing, estimations, and basic analysis of market numbers is a plus
  • Analyze market trends, drivers, and opportunities to support business decisions
  • Collect and consolidate information into actionable insights for market entry and business development
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
  • Analyze price trends, import–export data, and trade statistics to support business insights
  • Assist in preparing and delivering clear, high-impact presentations and reports for clients

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field; a master's degree is plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Market Research/consulting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Prior experience working with Japanese clients or on Japan-related projects would be a plus
  • Candidates having experience in Primary Research (questionnaire, cold calling etc.) will be preferred.
  • Candidates having industry knowledge of Automotive, Machinery/Equipment, Chemicals etc. will be preferred.
