We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager(Java) to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Job Description: Technical Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver technology-driven initiatives. The TPM will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. This role requires strong technical understanding, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver end-to-end technical projects across software development, cloud, and IT initiatives.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Lead cross-functional teams (developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business analysts).
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure projects follow Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies where applicable.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking for executive stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC), compliance, and security standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement lessons learned across projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within technology/software development environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, cloud technologies, and system architectures.
• Proven experience managing projects using Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, or similar).
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred/Good to Have

• PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, or SAFe Agile certification.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tooling.
• Background in software engineering or technical roles before transitioning into project management.
• Knowledge of budget management and financial forecasting for technology projects.
