Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join the accounting team of one of our key US-based clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare regular financial reports using QuickBooks Online and Excel.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the US client regarding financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support overall financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
  • Excellent proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are absolutely required to effectively interact with the US client.
  • Must be able to work the designated shift of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST from our offices in New Town, Kolkata.
