Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Freelance PR Executive based in Chennai to handle brand communications, media outreach, and public relations activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a creative approach to storytelling, and experience in managing press, influencer, and brand relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to build and enhance brand visibility.
  • Draft press releases, media notes, and other communication materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Coordinate interviews, media coverage, and press events.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare PR performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, creative, and social media) to align communication efforts.
  • Support in crisis communication and reputation management when required.
  • Identify PR opportunities and brand partnerships relevant to the company's goals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Media, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Public Relations, Media, or Communication (agency or brand side).
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Good media network and knowledge of Chennai's media landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Understanding of digital PR and influencer marketing is a plus.
