Overview
THE ROLE:
The purpose of the field sales function is to positively impact Distributor effectiveness to sustainably drive sales growth.
Working closely with the Country lead, the Field Sales Manager is a key position, leading the sales team which centralizes all the knowledge from members in Utrecht of their daily methods of retailing, their organizations structures and the deliverables needed in order to support them to sustainably grow their business.
Through Distributors, you support them to help people live their best lives, to be leaders in wellness and community and to build authentic relationships that go beyond transactions.
Dealing with the most senior, high profile members, you have a thorough and in depth understanding of best practices, DMOs, successful flow, business metrics, the business opportunity, marketing plan and our products to drive distributor effectiveness through retention, recruitment and VP growth.
Through field (F2F & Virtual) visits and/or participation at events you will build and maintain strong, trusting relationships and support the individual member to articulate their long term goal, vision and motivation. You will discuss business performance, using insight from data to identify strengths and opportunities in the flow. The member remains accountable for their own organization.
Through these regular interactions with members, you will identify trends and opportunities for training and Distributor support at national or regional events.
You could also be required for administration or management associated with events & special promotions aimed at enhancing sales & recruiting activity – this will be required periodically.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Conduct regular field/virtual visits/maintain positive contact, in order to regularly provide field insights, feedback and reports to CD. This involves communicating with our distributors frequently, focusing on business strategy and planning, including – business development and recruitment performance, identified member training needs, sales and recruiting tools and effective communication with members.
- Have a thorough knowledge of Distributors practices and performance while having the necessary relationship that allows open and honest communication to support them to identify strengths and opportunities to improve their flow. Best practice and models that can be duplicated are then shared with the broader community.
- Ensure the team update systems in a timely manner to allow effective reporting and decision making.
- Lead while working with Committees to drive and influence sales initiatives, event content and agreed implementations.
- Attends monthly meetings / HOMs / other relevant local trainings as an Ambassador of the Company, as well as National, Regional and International events – as required
- Apply a forward-looking lens to support the country growth plan through insight from the team, the metrics and external landscape. Influencing the country goals and plans to achieve.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Relationship Management – builds rapport quickly with all levels of DS from a variety of backgrounds to achieve common objectives and enhancing a sense of community.
- Communication – excellent written and verbal communication skills. Impactful presentation, facilitation and mediation capability. Able to converse with and present to all levels of senior management and distributors.
- Coaching and Influencing – expertly coaches members to identify and achieve their goals, managing resistance.
- Resilient and independent, able to work with minimal supervision. Result oriented, works consistently to achieve established goals
- Analytically skilled by using insight from data to identify opportunities and tackle barriers.
- Customer service mindset while being a strong Brand Ambassador.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar field role where you can demonstrate strategic execution
Education
- Excellent MS Office literate (PowerPoint and Excel)
- English literate with at least a high school / A level certification.
- Track record of growing business in a sales led environment
- Organizing & promoting corporate events, exhibitions, conferences & masterclasses (preferable)
- Managing budgets; market analysis; analyzing sales figures, etc.
