Apparel Production MIS Specialist

Location : Bangalore

Compensation : Up to ₹4 LPA (depending on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production MIS Specialist with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analysing production data, generating key performance reports, and ensuring smooth and efficient reporting processes. This role requires expertise in data management, report generation, and advanced Excel functionalities to drive informed decision-making and support production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Production Data Management:

Collect, organize, and maintain production data from various sources.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all production-related records.

Monitor and track production metrics, including output, downtime, quality, and efficiency.

2.MIS Reporting:

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports using Excel.

Design, automate, and maintain Excel-based reporting templates and dashboards.

Provide timely and accurate analysis of production data to management.

3.Data Analysis & Insights:

Analyse production data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to enhance production efficiency and optimize operations.

Assist in forecasting and setting production targets based on historical data.

4.Advanced Excel Skills:

Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, macros, and VBA for automating processes and enhancing reporting capabilities.

Build dynamic and interactive Excel dashboards for easy consumption of key performance metrics.

Troubleshoot and resolve Excel-related issues to ensure seamless operations.

5.Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Assist management in decision-making by providing accurate, data-driven insights.

Train and support other team members in Excel best practices and reporting tools.

6.Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate existing reporting processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.

Implement automation tools and scripts to reduce manual reporting tasks.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• Knowledge of Apparel Production Process
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIS, production reporting, or data analysis.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) – proficiency in using pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, and VBA.
• Experience with data analysis, report generation, and process optimization in a production environment.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs, VBA, macros).
• Familiarity with ERP and production management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a bonus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data-driven insights to management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

This position may require occasional overtime depending on production schedules.
