Hardware and Network Engineer.

  • Design and Implementation:
  • Analyze requirements and design network solutions, including creating network diagrams and documentation.
  • Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.

  • Plan, test, and implement new network devices and hardware.

  • Maintenance and Support:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including updating firmware and applying patches.

  • Provide technical support to users and collaborate with other IT teams.

  • Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor network performance to identify and address bottlenecks.

  • Optimize network performance and ensure it meets the organization's needs.

  • Security:

  • Ensure network security by implementing and enforcing security measures and policies.

  • Manage and maintain security-related hardware and software, such as firewalls and antivirus programs.

  • Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with network protocols and technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Understanding of network security principles.
  • Ability to create and interpret technical documentation
