Design Engineer for Off-Highway Systems – Transmissions & Axles

We are looking for a new colleague to support of series production for Construction Machinery Transmissions & Axles at our location in Coimbatore.

What you can look forward to as Design Engineer for Off-Highway Systems – Transmissions & Axles(m/f/d):

  • Provide technical support for production and assembly of construction machinery axles & Transmissions.
  • Cooperate with materials management department to select local suitable suppliers and realize successful

components localization

  • Creation of requirement specifications for components and systems, and coordination with internal and external suppliers
  • Design change and deviation request approval management with suppliers and customers on global scale
  • Change management for technical documents, BoM and other related documents
  • Technical support for supplier quality improvement and field quality cases

Your profile as Design Engineer for Off-Highway Systems – Transmissions & Axles

  • Bachelor or Master's in Mechanical engineering or similar
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the environment of Vehicle driveline systems.
  • Good 3D CAD skills, especially in Creo, and experience with PDM systems, preferably Axalant and Windchill
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex matters to all stakeholder (e.g. customers)
