Job Title: Experienced Salesperson – Jewellery Showroom

Location: Puducherry

Job Timing: 9:30am -9:30pm

Week off: Sunday

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Jewellery Salesperson to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in jewellery sales, excellent product knowledge, and the ability to deliver a personalized shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting jewellery pieces, building trust and long-term relationships, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional manner.
• Understand customer preferences and guide them in choosing jewellery pieces.
• Provide detailed product information on gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone jewellery.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Handle billing, exchanges, and returns in line with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
• Ensure the showroom displays are attractive, clean, and well-maintained.
• Stay updated with current jewellery trends, designs, and pricing.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in jewellery sales (gold/diamond/silver preferred).
• Strong product knowledge in jewellery and gemstones.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong persuasion and negotiation ability.
• Basic knowledge of billing, invoicing, and POS systems.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends and holidays.
